Here are my \u2018Notes of Agreement\u2019<\/a>. This, along with a signed \u2018Agreement to Present\u2019, forms the entirety of our agreement. It\u2019s like a contract, except that it\u2019s in plain English. The specifics of your event will be contained in the \u2018Agreement to Present\u2019 and once you sign it, these terms will become binding on both of us.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Notes of Agreement\u2019, signed or not, will be binding on us once the \u2018Agreement to Present\u2019 has been signed. Should you wish to have the \u2018Notes of Agreement\u2019 signed, please print and sign a copy and return it to me for signature together with a signed copy of the \u2018Agreement to Present\u2019. By returning a signed copy of the \u2018Agreement to Present\u2019 to me in the absence of an accompanying signed copy of the \u2018Notes of Agreement\u2019, you acknowledge that you do not require me to sign the \u2018Notes of Agreement\u2019.<\/p>\n

So you know, after more than 3,500 bookings, I have never yet had a dispute with a client – nor do I intend to.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, it would be in your best interests to download and save a copy of this document, even if you\u2019re happy for us not to sign it – just in case you need to refer back to it at a later stage. Here\u2019s why: I amend this document from time to time \u2013 so it is possible that by the time you want to refer back to it, the version applicable to our transaction is no longer available to you on the link in your \u2018Agreement to Present\u2019 \u2013 and it\u2019s then possible that the revised version on my website may contain clauses that may be to your detriment.<\/p>\n

Let me know if any of this doesn\u2019t work for you, so that we can discuss options and solutions. Contractually, we should of course put all changes in writing \u2013 but you can bet on this: if I, or anyone on my team, tell you something, you can put it in the bank, in writing or not, signed or not. Period.<\/p>\n
