Step-By-Step: A Corporate Game in Problem Solving and Group Communication

ABOUT THE CONTENT....

This is a fun and memorable edutaining participative activity that requires the collection and transmission of information through several stages: simulating typical organisational information flow, from conceptualisation; through the stages of planning and instruction; and finally to implementation.

"Step-by-Step" brings about an awareness of the importance, and unquestionable value of inter-dependence on both the

  • micro scale where the Team comprises the individual; the sub-team (say sections of the same department of a single organisation); and the Team (the specific department, division, or organisation); and the

  • macro scale, which is made up of the individual; the sub-team (now comprising different departments / divisions of the same organisation, but which could even extend to separate organisations with a strategic alliance); and the Team (everyone who will be affected by the outcome of the process).
