Introducing Stef du Plessis

Note for the introducer: "du Plessis" is pronounced as a three-syllable word: doo-pleh-see

A near school drop-out who started out as a factory hand, Stef du Plessis now holds a Masters degree in leadership. But he insists that this is not nearly as important as what he has learnt for himself along the way...

He has been the decorated commander of an elite Parachute Battalion, and a top producing financial services broker. Over the past 15 years, he has deliver some 2,500 paid presentations around the globe. Long before he ever held an academic qualification of his own, he was lecturing to university professors... now he works with business leaders at the highest level. Even heads of state.

Today he heads a consultancy that boasts a team of ten associates, all with at least a Masters degree, while about half hold PhD’s. He is a dedicated philanthropist, has been a guest on radio and TV, paddled one of Africa’s greatest rivers, cycled solo across South Africa to raise funds for orphans, and has been the "mind-coach" for both the SA Olympic Soccer team and the SA Athletics team. And he finds time to persue his favorite passion: traveling to remote destinations with his wife of 20 years, Maureen, and their two girls – both of whom he delivered!

Here to help you in your own pursuit of personal effectiveness, please help me welcome Stef du Plessis...
