About The Process

This process is based on Group Grope, an activity originally designed by Sivasailam Thiagarajan, PHd. It is an efficient, effective group activity that gives participants a deeper understanding of concepts, an increased sharing of values, and a greater ownership of decisions.

It gets people to loosen up, participate, and collaborate.

What This Process Will Do For Your Delegates

The activity will enable you to:

  • Encourage employee involvement.
  • Create or review values.
  • Create action plans.
  • Learn new concepts.
  • Explore controversial issues.
  • Conduct a needs assesment.
  • Go beyond brainstorming.
  • Evaluate products and processes.

Who Participates?

Suitable for all levels of staff, and applicable to all sectors of all industries.

Number of delegates: Any group, minimum 3 and maximum 500. Ideal group size for high level facilitation not more than 50.

Format

Workshop in the form of a facilitated process (60 - 90 minutes).

Equipment and Venue

Group Think can be facilitated at any venue, and needs no equipment other than one table per 10 delegates (no chairs needed).
