Effective Individual
You need your people to be motivated, driven, and engaged. To be more committed to quality, and to demonstrate initiative and ownership through accountability. And you need them to embrace change, to communicate more openly, and to crank up your results. This is an attainable goal. But people transformation starts with the understanding that people are people first, employees second. That’s why the aim cannot be to grow employees. Rather, the aim is to grow people. Period. When you unselfishly grow the capacity of your people as individual, ‘whole’ persons, you will, as a byproduct, reap the reward on your workshop floors... in your outlets, call centers, service areas... and in your boardroom. Your people, without a single exception, are motivated primarily by the pursuit of personal purpose. It’s a human condition. More than anything, they just want to be happy. And yes, they also want to do meaningful work – but only once they make sense of their own lives. Help them to build the capacity to find personal fulfillment, and they will reward you beyond your wildest imagination in the workplace. They will come to work earlier, and stay later when needed. They will treat your stuff as if it were their own. They will hold themselves accountable. And they will do all of the other things that you wish that they would be doing now. Making this investment may just be your single biggest competitive advantage: because most companies are not farsighted enough to invest in their people at a personal level. Over the past 20 years, Stef du Plessis has helped companies everywhere to make the most of their people. And he has the track record to prove it.
Stef can do the same for you, in any of these formats:
